Can we talk about this for a second?
Really.
What the fuck?

This is a part of humanity I’ve never been introduced to before until tonight. I know this is just acting, but yet these are real people making these videos, some for their full time jobs. I feel like we have reached somewhat of a low point. I now understand the criticisms of generations past. And yet, I see hope in this. These people doing this YouTube “Comedy Reality” are enjoying their lives, and creating what some may preserve as some art of the past.

the popularity of these jumpcut vlogs about boring topics is probably related to the focus on reality television or sumthin

False rape accusations are an anomaly.

True rape accusations are a norm.

You’re, quite literally, more likely to be killed by a comet than falsely accused of rape.

Re-blog now, read later.

"Because 1 in 33 men will be raped in his lifetime, men are 82,000x more likely to be raped than falsely accused of rape. It seems many of us would do well to pay more attention to how rape culture affects us all than be paranoid about false accusers.”

This was how the myth of Black criminality started, for the record. After the abolition of slavery, a lot of states made laws targeting Black people specifically, and then put them on chain gangs to get free labor from them.

Oh, and the US is still disproportionately incarcerating Black people and private prisons are making huge amounts off them.

Yeah, I believe that black people are twice as likely to be arrested and convicted for committing the same crimes as a white person. Draw your own conclusions.

Reblogging this because everytime in real life I’ve said Slavery didn’t really end I’ve been dismissed as crazy.

Additionally, in Britain, three times as likely to be arrested.

Six times as likely for a drug offence.

Please God, let me meet her. All I want to is to find that perfect girl I know exists. She’s sweet and shy and my age and likes all the things I do, perhaps even is on this site itself. The girl who won’t secretly think I’m a loser, the girl I can cuddle with (even if only possible online) and spent nights talking to and laughing and sharing happiness. Someone who can reciprocate the love I put in, the girl who I can make feel safe and secure unconditionally and can fill this gaping, empty void in my heart.
Please, just let me find this person. I’ll change everything about me if that’s what it takes Please, I just can’t take the loneliness anymore.
